Sales Search

When working with hundreds or thousands of sales orders, Talk2Sync allows you to navigate and operate on them by treating orders as sets. This makes it possible to quickly narrow the scope of a search and work only with the orders that meet specific criteria.

Talk2Sync creates these sets based on predefined conditions and criteria designed to support common ecommerce data-management workflows. You can access them by entering search terms in the sales-order search bar.

Set Operations

When you select more than one set, Talk2Sync applies an intersection operation.

An intersection means that only orders matching all conditions from all selected sets are included in the resulting set.

For example, combining:

  • Orders from a specific connection.
  • Orders from a specific year.
  • Orders with pending updates.

returns only orders that satisfy all three conditions.

Available Sales Order Filters

The following filters are available for sales-order searches:

  • Orders on "connection type"
  • Orders with "pending updates" "to connection type"
  • Orders with "pending creates" "to connection type"
  • Orders of "year" "month"
  • Orders of "year"
  • Orders of this month
  • Orders of this year
  • Orders of last week
  • Orders of yesterday
  • Orders of today

Using Filters

These filters allow you to narrow the set of sales orders based on connection, synchronization state, or time period.

Multiple filters can be combined to progressively reduce the result set. Because multiple selections use intersection logic, an order must satisfy every selected condition to be included.

Next Steps

  • Review Sales Fields to understand the standardized fields available for sales orders.
  • Learn about Sales Order Equivalences to understand how orders are represented across connections.
  • Review Product Search for similar set-based search capabilities applied to products.
